At Pool Stars we keep our classes small ensuring each child gets the time and attention they need. All of our lessons are packed with fun activities to keep our swimmers engaged, we want all Pool Stars to have fun whilst they are learning to swim! Our parent and baby instructors understand that it can be daunting handling your baby in the water, this is why these classes focus on building the confidence of parents at the same time. All classes are billed monthly and are term time only for 42 week of the year. We are open on bank holidays and during half terms. We offer both group and 1:1/private classes. All new swimmers in group sessions receive a free taster session!

At Swim Stars we pride ourselves on a lot of things but our mission is simple, for all of our Pool Stars to swim confidently and safely. This is achieved by delivering consistently high-quality swim lessons that are relational, inclusive and engaging.

We have exclusive access to the pool meaning everything can be kept within touching distance and no distractions from other lessons or swimmers. Being privately owned with small classes means we can keep learning fun and engaging and can deliver all our lessons in a very comfortable 32c heated pool.

Pool Stars was set up by husband and wife George and Laura Jenkins. Laura and George brought over 15 years of swimming teaching and sports coaching experience to Pool Stars. They also have a combined total of 20+ years of experience as Physical Education teachers.

Laura and George established Pool Stars because they were despondent with their experience of swimming lessons, both as teachers and as parents. They were frustrated by the cold water, the large groups, the impersonal approach and the lack of feedback given to swimmers and parents alike. They believed passionately that things could be so much better!

They set out to create a swim school that is centred on the needs of the swimmer and the parent.
